Besides having qualities such as compassion, kindness, patience and empathy, I believe my suitability for the post is also evidenced by my training and experience in the field of science, education and personal care. Having been originally trained as a science teacher, my understanding of the physiology and functions of the human body are not rudimentary but are supported by my passion for Biology and in the practice of taking care of people. I have volunteered as a carer for little babies and children of all ages and also looked after senior citizens who are incapacitated through illness. One example was when I provided care for about 18 months to an adult male patient who was immobilized due to a stroke. ...

i am a mature fully trained live in care giver with many years experience. whilst i have had many i dont have a current (2022) DBS enhanced. ideally i prefer short term placements,up to 4 weeks,returning,if needed,after a reasonable break. my mother lives next door to me. she is still very independant but shes in her mid 80's and i like being around for her. i have successfully completed many placements through the Miracle Workers agency up to the lockdown. i have been finding my own employment since lockdown ended. ...
