My focus is largely dementia care. I usually do long stints of care and am kind, compassionate, have a good sense of humour and am very capable and organised. I enjoy history, cooking and reading. I am resourceful and enjoy trying to involve my clients and make their lives interesting. English is my first language. My salary required is 950-1000 GBP/week ...

I am a very committed worker, l love challenges and l am a persistent person and l don't give up easily. I can make good decisions under a lot of pressure ( good decision maker) l have the will to succeed have the ability to learn fast. When l was younger, l had a close family member with a degenerative disease, who l stayed with and was involved in caring for. Although it was very sad, l learned a lot about taking care of others and how much this person got out of my care, which also made me feel fulfilled. I realised then that l wanted a career based around helping people, making me a compassionate person I am Flexible in approach to work - able to undertake shift work where required. I have the ability to use own initiative. I am committed to on-going personal development. Willing to undertake and complete any further education, training and development relevant to the post.
