I am an experienced PA / Live-in carer. I have been working in this role since Jan 2017 supporting clients with varying levels of required support. I have experience supporting clients with Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Dementia and Parkinson's, providing full personal care, assisting with the use of standing aids and hoists. I have also worked with clients who have physio routines and assisted with these daily as well as clients who are with SALT and have assisted clients with the teams advice and guidance. I believe the role of carer/PA needs to be more than just physical day to day support, and that companionship and building a close bond are also imperative to the role. I enjoy cooking and am a firm believer that a healthy diet contributes greatly to general well-being. I also have good house-keeping skills and am a clean and tidy person and enjoy ensuring my clients environment is in keeping with this. I am a resident of Spain but was born in the UK, am a British passport holder and all of my employment is in the UK. I live in the countryside of Valencia with my partner and our three rescue dogs. I am ideally looking for a 1 on 3 off shift rotation in a complex care booking at 170 GBP per day or more in a long term booking. ...

I have a degree in social work and a background in Occupational Therapy. However, this is then followed by CQC regulated on-going Mandatory training. Additional training will be sourced upon request.
