When l was younger, l had a close family member with a degenerative disease, who l stayed with and was involved in caring for. Although it was very sad, l learned a lot about taking care of others and how much this person got out of my care, which also made me feel fulfilled. I realised then that l wanted a career based around helping people, making me a compassionate person I am Flexible in approach to work - able to undertake shift work where required.
