My empathy and compassion towards old people and the ones who are in special need could be a good opportunity to build up a special and respectful relationship. In the past 10 years, I have dealt with dementia, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and autism, those were the most difficult situations I had experienced in my Job career related to care. In comparison with helping elderly, It will be easier to carry out my duty in the best way I can to improve their independence and provide them with high quality of care. I am capable to offer and create a variety of activities throughout the week such as gardening, cooking, doing light housekeeping, encouraging them to socialise by accompanying them to day Centre to join other people, support them to go for walk, involve them to exercise their hobbies, respecting always their choices and preferences. I took care of my grandmother almost 1 year and half with dementia and Alzheimer after sever stroke. My cousin runs a day care business in Portugal and she is my neighbour and I used to help her with the elders. I just finished a year of placement with a client. I have almost 1 year and half of experience with spinal core injury. I also took care of a 95years old gentlemen with cancer and really fragile for 2 weeks. I have experiencie with brain injury. Also have almost 30 training certificates and DBS up to date. I also have references. At the moment I have been doing just covers. For more destila please contact me for more info.
