I've been around care and support environments all my life, having grown up in an attached flat to a residential home that my mum managed. I worked there from 13yr to 17yr. I'm 39 year female, single, and get on well with most cultures as have travelled widely. I love meeting new people. In later life, I've ran my own businesses: market and festival stalls, hand made crafts and for 8 years my own deli, bakery and cafe in New Zealand. I love great conversation on a range of subjects, obviously love to cook and healthy food. I've also trained as a Heart Math facilitator, teaching resilience and mindfulness practises. I practise meditation, yoga and love to exercise. I would love a regular placement with a younger person who I can get to know, them me, and build a fun, interactive, supportive and mutually beneficial relationship that honours the challenges life throws at us in a healthy and positive way.
