I’m 32 years old, originally born in Lancashire and would consider myself a polite, sociable and conscientious individual. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life and helping them to become the best version of themselves. I am highly adaptable and an easy person to live with, taking into consideration an individual's personality, character and likes/dislikes which helps me to easily integrate into their home and/or lifestyle. I also have no specific dietary requirements and can adapt this to the individual whom I am working for. I have 4+ years of specific live-in care experience, with individuals ranging from those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and those requiring palliative (end of life) care. This was through an introduction agency - it is worth noting how I consistently worked with a regular set of 4 clients throughout this period, which reflects how I am capable of building and retaining trusting, professional relationships. Some of my previous live-in care clients considered me more of a "PA", therefore I am more than competent in managing other aspects of an individual's life, if needed (such as diary management, medication management, attending appointments, events, admin support etc). I assisted my clients with additional aspects of their life, such as moving home, going on holiday, attending college, setting and achieving new goals etc. Having worked in clinical and high secure settings, this is reflected in how well-organised and efficient I am, especially in terms of taking initiative and completing all tasks to a high standard.
