Hello. I am a mature man of 67 years but also in good physical shape. Although I have done a variety of jobs in my life , I have worked for the past 20 years in different support worker roles including , Aquired brain injury, pallative care, Autism, Wheelchair users, Supported living, Homeless and Substance missusers. Also I enjoy the challenge of lone working and have a passion to be reliable and do things properly. I think a sense of humour is essential ! The working pattern would also fit very well for me. I have 30 years experience working in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist with people with neurological conditions and most recently supporting stroke survivors in their own homes , hospital and group settings. I have a wide range of interests and am easy to get along with. I enjoy the company of older people who have so much to share with their wealth of knowledge and history. I’m hard working happy to provide personal care toileting plus medication administration cleaning food preparation I’m happy to live and a clients house and I can work 6 weeks on one week off I’m good at keeping company I can wash up and do loundry and help with gardening.I’m ok with pets aslong as they don’t bite I’m ok with clients that smoke even if I don’t smoke . ...
