Personal Statement My reasons to become a live in carer devolved out of my own experiences caring for my late mother. A growing sense that my own personal fulfilment lies in helping those that need support. I have travelled extensively from backpacking to luxury holidays. I returned to the UK in 2018 after living and having my home and residency in New Zealand. I love to cook and would put myself as a good family food cook. I enjoy reading mostly factual or biographies. I like to be outside and walking when I can, having spent a lot of my life luckily in beautiful places most often by the sea. I am versatile, adaptable and enjoy new challenges. I work hard and I am very dependable. I work well in a team and I am equally confident working on my own. I am patient with a positive mindset and have a genuine compassionate nature. I like to keep active and busy and experience of running family homes and dealing with a vast range of people, from many different cultures and social needs ...
