Hello, I have just returned to the UK, after 7 years of working/volunteering in Spain and Portugal. I am reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. I have much to offer as a carer, chef and companion. I volunteered as a carer when I was at college, (helping an old lady with severe arthritis) and I worked as a carer in London for six months, in between freelance film jobs. I was cooking for an old man with dementia. Most of my career has been spent assisting people, (film directors and advertising photographers mostly) I’m conscientious, self-motivated and well organised. I’m kind and reliable. I’m a good cook and I have learned a lot about health and nutrition over the years. My friends tell me that I’m an inspiring person and I have many stories to tell. I also love to listen to other people’s stories and play board games, or card games My grandfather needed a lot of support when he was nearing the end of his life, so I have experience with helping my own family members. I’d love to help someone who is happy, friendly and who appreciates life. Ideally, someone who needs physical help and who enjoys good conversation. I went to university, (twice) I have two degrees. I’ve travelled and worked in various countries. I have many skills and a wealth of experience to offer the right person. I love time in nature and being outdoors. I enjoy walking dogs. I am a good driver and I am well-organised. I like to meditate early each morning and practice yoga, (if I have time) I wish to be of service and make a positive difference in society. I look forward to meeting the right client and developing a fun and mutually beneficial working relationship together. ...
