I decided to become a caregiver because when my great-grandmother fell ill I helped take care of her, as we were well connected, we had a friendly relationship. So, with great pleasure, I helped with shifts when she was in the hospital, at home, with feedings, with giving medications, and of course cheering her up! When I went on exchange for the first time in Ireland, I discovered this profession that made me go after demonstrating this gift that I discovered, and also, being able to fulfill a dream of working/living in a local family. And from then on, my English took off. I grew as a human being and I feel proud of that. ...
