Since 2019 I have worked in both live in and live out care, primarily for people with spinal-cord injuries, although for the last year I have lived and cared for a couple with dementia. I worked for active care group agency for 3 years and received a full training from them and refreshers each year. What is most important to me is to see that each person is an individual, with unique needs and temperaments and that my role is in flexibility, patience and understanding in how to best adapt to that person. My background is in the arts and academia, graduating from the University of Sussex with a History degree in 2017. Since then, holistic health, meditation and poetry have all been passions of mine.
