I'm a hardworking, bubbly person. I have travelled and I'm writing a book about my life. I have lived abroad a lot. I love learning about cultures. I worked with children in my youth and now feel to look after the older generation. I'm looking in caring live in or out. I'm a very caring person. I looked after a friends mother who had a fall getting out of bed and had no confidence supposedly for a couple of weeks from Tues morning until Thursday afternoon moving in. We then out found out through her oncologist that her cancer had come back and things started to go downhill from there. At first her big toe went black and would heal and after calling doctors out and them saying it was nothing and paediatrician who disagreed we finally took her to the hospital where we was told to take her to Northwick Park. I was doing her physio with her and realising myself it was something to do with her circulation and blood flow I then found out she had a stent fitted. She was admitted. I also found out she had a dodgy ticker too and was on blood thinners. I started looking after Joy in the May and in the August the family brother and sister were taking a holiday together so I offered to move in for the week to put there mind at ease. The son was going first and mid holiday the sister would join. The night I arrive the boiler went at ten o'clock Joy was still awake because of the man. The next day I was waiting for the doctor to arrive anyway as Joy didn't feel too good and was wheezing a little. I had got her downstairs and was getting ready when Joy shouted out she need the bathroom. She had soiled herself but was also bleeding from the passage. She was then called a ambulance as she had internal bleeding. I had to contact the family in Greece as she was admitted. I informed the family of all the going on and visited her day and night until she came out allowing the family to enjoy their time away knowing she was in capable hands. Finally she came out and went back in again I think this time when she came out her daughter looked after her the first night and then I took over. They had no fitted a panic button and everything was fine. I went to bed about 11 and she was fine. In the middle I heard a noise she had take the finger off and was lying there struggling to breathe I called the ambulance and them five mins felt like a life time. I called the daughter to meet as at the hospital and Joy was given Oxygen. The neighbour a good friend came and said she will go soon before we went to the hospital in the ambulance. I waited with Joy holding her hand until her daughter came and until she was settled. I was due on a holiday in Sept and she went from Hospital into a hospice. I extended my time away and sadly she passed away while I was in Spain. Before this I helped in Spain as my friends partner was not feeling to good, cut a long story short this time he got diagnosed with stage four cancer. I helped look after him. I have worked for Curum care, The Good Care Group and privately including my mother with Alzheimer's. My first ever training was a nursery nurse so I cared for children in my younger years. I'm also a really good cook liking healthy foods and love gardening. ...
