I am Edith, I come from Hungary but i have lived in wonderful England since 2014 - and in Plymouth for four years. My background: I have three very independent adult daughters and when they no longer needed my mothering skills, I came to England, and of course they really love coming to visit me in my Plymouth flat. I have been in the field of ‘caring’ over here for eight years and indeed I am a Qualified Carer, but I also have additional skills in basic nursing, dementia care, end of life and palliative care. I am quite used to the responsibility of looking after elderly people who are poorly solo, providing home cooking, running the house, laundry etc, and indeed, just ‘being there’. Respite care in all shapes and forms really, is what I do. Post hospital care I am also very comfortable to do. A little additional relevant information: I am very fit. Self Employed with UTR Number. DBS Certification. But I am afraid I don’t drive. ...

I am a very active young at heart 65 yrs old been in care on and off for many years ,currently a senior care assistant in a 45 bedded residential home . Dealing with mostly dementia ,alzeimhers .I hold a NVQ2 and various certificates . I have experience in home care but I would love to move onto live in care. This role would provide me with the opportunity to give someone a better quality of life. I am naturally drawn to a caring role and I love to help others. I am kind, good company and have a great sense of humour, whilst also being aware of appropriate social expectations. My common sense approach helps me to easily adapt to situations and I am a quick learner who is non judgemental. Hi, my name is Marie and I have been a carer both professionally and personally for the past 25 years. My most recent role was based in Putney where I looked after an elderly lady as a live in carer. I have also had many years experience looking after adults with learning disabilities, as well as elderly people with dementia, Alzheimer's and palliative care.
