Hi. I'm Marc. In 2001, I volunteered as a ‘Homesharer’ which saw me living with the elderly and helping them with domestic chores, giving them company and security and updating their grown children. I seemed to be very good at this and made friends along the way (they’ve all passed on now). I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to write a book about my experience for posterity. It hasn’t sold many copies, but that’s beside the point 😊 As you can see from my CV, there’s a lot of ‘Care’ stuff in there – employed, self-employed, book writing and it’s only now that, looking back, I realise that this is my path. ...
