I am a cheerful, compassionate, reliable, flexible and patient individual who takes pride in delivering only the best quality of care. I became a carer because I enjoy making a difference to people's lives on a daily basis. I have a person centered approach to my work that prioritises my clients. Giving assistance to help them maintain their independence gives me great satisfaction. I have over a decade of experience dealing with clients with various needs including dementia care, support with personal care and mobility issues as well as offering companionship. I’m confident to operate most transfer equipment including ceiling hoists, standing aids,slide sheets and slings to name a few. I am also familiar with catheter care. I currently work as a shift manager at Hellofresh but due to the extreme cold conditions in the warehouse I’ve had to change my career path. I’m currently looking for something I enjoy doing which is helping other people. I cared for my Nan who was diagnosed with cancer for roughly 2.5 years. I’ve also cared for my mother as she had a complete knee replacement . I would love to give others the same love and care and with my extensive managerial experience I believe I would be a great fit for the live in cater positions. ...
