I am also currently Have a degree in guidance and counseling and some care certificates with a view to becoming a manager in the sector one day. I have experience in a range of elderly care environments, in particular adults with special needs. My father-in-law law suffered with stroke and pelvic cancer and it is the years spent by him side that motivate me to help however I can. As a caring and reliable individual, I have a passion for supporting those who need it most and helping them to make the most of their lives. The smallest gesture can make a difference, so I try my best to be mindful and open to anything that is required of me. Hi, i have worked in the care sector for many years. Worked for the NHS as a phlebotomist/HCA, NVQ Band 3 with the District Nurses in Cornwall and locum phlebotomist for a medical centre. I am currently self employed as a live in carer. For 5 years working for the same client in Scotland. This ended in March of 2018 due to the familys decision to put the client into a nursing home. I currently work for an agency based West Midlands on an ad-hock basis, live in. Hello i have been in the care sector since 1996. From nursing homes to domicillary care supported living for clients with challenging behaviours, to live in care since 2014. I am experienced with many care aspects and for the last 7 years cared for my long term clients through to them needing palliative care. I am a private carer…..non.agency.please…..and I am self employed. I would prefer a rota base maybe 1/2 weeks on off. I travel to clients useing trains/buses making sure I travel by the cheapest route/timings. I am on the dbs update system, have care references and up to date training with certificates. I can even cover, if available respite care for yourself/ loved one. I like reading magazines, gardening, diy, little walks and day trips. I am a very caring person, with lots of empathy and don’t give in easily …if plan a doesn’t work we go to plan b. I have patience understanding, as all my references will show you. I give care to the best of my ability and fully enjoy my work. As a private carer I am sure daily rate of pay, depending on clients needs can be discussed, with a 2 hour break as standard.
