Hi. I am Shanice, I am 31 with almost ten years of experience in the care industry. At 18 I was pursuing child care and believed I picked the right profession but unfortunately my aunt took ill. Instead of going to university I made the decision to look after her where I have learned so many different skills and attributes about myself. My aunt went into remission but I wanted to continue further into caring where I joined penderals trust and cared for numerous clients with cancer, mental illness, dementia, fibromyalgia, autism, learning difficulties and speech and physical impairments. My role I offered companionship, personal care, observations, arranging and attending appointments, medication administration, meal preparation and adapted to the needs of every client's care plan. I have continued to my journey in social care, completing a BA Hons in social care at Wolverhampton University and I am now seeking the opportunity to continue in a career that has chosen me. I look forward to hearing from you. ...
