I'm 23 years of age and am currently living in Exmouth Devon. I'm quite new to care although I have done 2 months trained care work roughly 12 months ago. Unfortunately, due to other working and financial reasons I had to stop. In the short time I was there I had a good working insight to some of the fundamentals in care work. Along the way I worked with people in the community and in residential homes with a wide range of disabilities and needs.
I'm currently working in hospitality at a small Exmouth cafe however, I am looking for a change in profession. From the feed back I have received from friends, who work in live in care and from what I have learnt myself, live in care appeals to me much more than community based work.
I like to think of myself as a very honest and caring person and think with the right training and guidance, I could be a great asset to any caring practice.
