I am a mature male, educated in the UK and eligible to work in EU. I was resident in Zimbabwe where I worked in the hospitality industry. I moved back to the UK in 2014 where I joined a live in care agency in Oakham. I have been working for elderly gentlemen as a long term live in carer. I am keen to enter into a similar type of role which involves companionship, housekeeping, personal care, medication, driving and shopping. Due to my hotel management back ground I am able to cook appetising meals. My induction involved manual handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, health & safety, administration of medications, personal care and infection control, dementia and record keeping. I also completed a Care Certificate set by Health Education England, Skills for Care and Skills for Health.
