I also have spent eight months as a personal assistant / companion to a 94 year old gentleman - a former professor with the Scientific Civil Service - and prior to that, in my capacity as a self - employed personal assistant / gardener / property maintenance, had assisted several elderly members of the congregation of my church, not only professionally, but as a friend by helping them continue living independently in their own homes. I am well educated, previous work experience includes office management, highly practical, well - travelled, ex - military, and have a natural empathy with the elderly.
