# Profile Introduction

I am a **British live-in carer with over 10 years' experience**, having worked in live-in care on and off since 2015. I hold a **British passport and have the right to work in the UK**.

I have a calm, warm and practical approach to care and enjoy the one-to-one nature of live-in work. I have supported clients with personal care, limited mobility, medication prompting, meal preparation, household tasks, appointments, companionship and maintaining independence in their own homes.

I am reliable, responsible and comfortable working independently, while respecting each client's routines, privacy, dignity and personal choices. I particularly enjoy getting to know the person behind the care needs and becoming someone they can trust and rely on.

I bring a friendly personality, good conversation, humour and a practical approach to everyday life. I enjoy cooking and preparing good meals, and I aim to create a relaxed, positive and comfortable home environment.

My experience includes supporting clients with **COPD, scoliosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, hearing difficulties and reduced mobility**, among other age-related and physical care needs.

I am currently in Mauritius and returning to the UK in September 2026, arriving on **11 September**, and will be available for live-in work from **12 September onwards**. I am looking for a good, stable placement where I can build a positive and lasting working relationship with my client and their family.

I previously held an **Enhanced DBS with a continuous subscription to the DBS Update Service**. That subscription has recently lapsed, so I would require a new Enhanced DBS check and am happy for an employer to arrange this.

I am open to both private live-in care positions and established care providers and would be very happy to discuss any suitable opportunity.
