Hi, I'm Lenny. I've worked in care before, in a care home supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities, doing 12 hour night shifts. That covered everything from getting people settled for the evening and helping with dinner, to being there through the night for whatever came up, personal care, toileting, monitoring night events, even playing card games before bed time if they wanted, making sure everyone was safe and comfortable. I was also responsible for household chores like doing laundry, ironing clothes, kitchen cleaning, dishwasher loading and unloading, etc.
