I am a compassionate, reliable and calm individual with over five years of experience working in NHS pharmacy settings. This has given me a strong understanding of healthcare, confidentiality and treating people with dignity and respect.
During Covid, I supported an elderly couple in their home before they moved permanently into a care home, helping with daily tasks, companionship and maintaining a comfortable environment.
Although I do not yet have direct live in care experience, I am genuinely passionate about helping people maintain comfort and quality of life in their own home.
What appeals to me about this role is the focus on companionship, positivity and a calm daily routine. I would like to think I’m naturally warm, patient, easy going and I understand the importance of supporting someone with early stage Alzheimer’s while respecting their independence.
I am also a huge animal lover. I enjoy nature, walks and meaningful conversations.
