I have a degree in Community and Youth Studies, Diploma in Counselling, NVQ 4 Health and Social Care, Registered Managers Award, PGD in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
I have extensive experience of working in the care industry spanning over 35years, cumulating in 11 years as a registered care manager supporting adults with mental health L/D, ABI, Dementia, spinal Injury and complex needs. Working in the community, crisis centres, step down units and family homes.
I have stepped down from management and now work on 1.1 basis in family homes with adults who need support to ensure a good quality of life. Transferring my knowledge skills and experiences to deliver a good package of care focussing on their needs and creating happy memories.
I enjoy all water-based activities, outdoor environments, cycling, theatre, concerts and supporting holidays. I enjoy life and aim to inspire and create happy memories with those I support
