Over nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of supporting some truly remarkable people through some of the most important & challenging chapters of their lives. I understand how frightening & confusing age-related conditions can be, not just for the person, but for the whole family. I'm calm, patient and person-centred, focused on dignity, independence & genuine companionship.
My time in the NHS gave me a strong clinical foundation & I bring that professional knowledge to each placement, combined with the warmth and flexibility that live-in care requires. I don't drive, but I'm happy to use public transport or work with families where transport is arranged.
I work hard to fit into the rhythms of a person's life rather than disrupting them & I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I care for, their stories, their preferences, their sense of humour.
