I am a qualified Carer/Healthcare Assistant with a traceable measure of experience of twelve
years within the healthcare setting; I consider myself to be a calm, positive, caring,
compassionate and service-user centred person. While in this position, I supported individual
adults in meeting their Activities of Daily Living in their homes as well as in Elderly Care
Homes. I view the practical tasks of my job role as satisfying because of the joy and appreciation
on the part of my service users. I am a reliable and punctual individual always ready to learn and
develop my skills to the highest possible standards. I love my role and I am driven by the desire
to make a real difference in an individual’s life. As alluded above, I stand guided by the duty of
care and the six C’s in Health and Social Care. As a carer I am fully conversant with the Care
Standards as they apply to my job role.
