Originally from Ireland, I am a 43year old woman who is strong, flexible and capable with bundles of curiosity, empathy and humour. I possess a keen awareness of the vital dynamics involved in caring from communication, organisation, discretion, sensitivity and irregular working hours. My fathers' family have a genetically-informed disease known as HSP (Hyperspastic Paraplegia) and I have cared for numerous aunties/uncles who have this debilitating disease. This included, bathing, dressing, running errands, soothing and cooking.
My quality of self-sufficiency allows me to work independently while my tenacious and
energetic outlook allows me to enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
I have a wide range of experience from journalism, teaching, animation, film production, management, receptionist, PA, and bartending. This, I believe has highlighted my excellent communication and organisational skills further; networking with a diverse range of clients on a continual basis while presenting proposals effectively through written, aural and visual formats.
I have a passion for Life, Nature and the Arts. I'm currently writing my first play and write and perform spoken word poetry. I also work as an energy practitioner providing Reiki and shamanic healing services.
I have the basic DBS certificate along with a full clean manual driving license.
