I am a caring and honest and hardworking individual. I have respect for every individual that I support and interact with as I believe that everyone is deserving of respect, honour and dignity regardless of their disability or health issues and I am an empathetic and helpful person who values others. I have a good sense of humour but still keep boundaries and I have a professional approach and attitude towards my work.
I have been a carer/ support worker in different positions and settings for 26 years now,on and off and I have never been happier than when supporting individuals who are not able to help themselves.
I also have experience with complex care. I am looking for a permanent position which is not zero hours contract.
I am keen to learn new skills and although I don't drive, I do have other skills that compensate for my not being able to drive.
