I am a care worker with over 21 years of experience. In my various jobs I have learnt to support clients with their day-to-day needs and implement positive behaviour changes. I have learnt the importance of exercising patient choice and that the rights of patients should be met at all times. I have learnt the importance of keeping accurate records of patients in order to help in meeting patient needs. In my previous role I have learnt to facilitate returning patients to less restrictive community settings. I respect the patient's confidentiality and actively promote the patient's independence and their right to make their own choices. My strengths which I can bring to any role include being self-motivated, a team player, patience in dealing with difficult patients, honesty and genuinely caring for vulnerable people.
