I am a compassionate and experienced carer and student nurse, currently on my final leadership placement, due to finish in September 2025. With over 15 years in health and social care, I began as a live-in carer and, since 2014, have gained wide experience across residential care, supported living, and mental health services. I have also worked in neurorehabilitation settings supporting people with dementia, PEG feed, and tracheostomy care, as well as in brain injury units and with individuals living with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. These roles have given me a strong foundation in person-centred care, safeguarding, and promoting independence, with dignity and respect always at the heart of my work.
I value relational security, creating safe and supportive environments by building therapeutic relationships, maintaining clear boundaries, and working effectively with families and professionals. Returning to live-in care, I bring resilience, knowledge, and best practice to provide empathetic, professional support at home.
