I have many years of work experience as an estate agent in South Africa and a live-in carer, employed by an agency as well as self-employed, in the UK. I have worked with male and female clients with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and various other age-related diseases. I am currently in South Africa but I am preparing to return to the UK as soon as I find a position, preferably by October 2025 or sooner. I am an experienced driver of manual or automated cars. My British driver's license has lapsed while I was away and I'll renew it as soon as I am back in the UK. I am entitled to drive with my South African license which is valid for one year. I'll buy a car upon arrival if it is required and for this purpose I'll mention in your form that I do own a car. I am fully bilingual and speak English and Afrikaans. I hold dual citizenship - British and South Africa. Working with the elderly is my passion and I have a wealth of skills, experience and energy to share.
