Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in being live - in- carer/ assistant. For many years I have had a great example in my mother who worked as a carer almost all her professional career in our hometown retirement home where I got to know what´s this job about. The passion for helping people has been with me my whole life.
I have finally started my professional career as a carer last year and it only convinced me that I want to continue pursuing this profession.
Over the last 12 months I worked as a live – in carer on two weeks rota in Scotland for a lovely 50 year old wheelchair man with autism who also has celebral palsy and epileptic seizures. After the mutual agreement I have just left this position and therefore I am looking for a new position where I can continue doing what I love.
I am a mature person with caring nature who can offer a professional attitude, patience and very good physical fitness.
I would like to think that I am also a hard working, reliable, energetic, sporty and very optimistic person who loves to help people in general and to bring smile and joy into their lives.
In my free time I spend most of the time with my girlfriend and our dog Butch (3 year old bavarian mountain hound), exploring different places, going on hikes, etc. Sport and traveling are my two biggest passions. I have played football all my life and I still occassionally play if there is a time.
On my weeks off I will be staying in the Czech Republic, however, I have a place in Cambridge ( please see my CV) where I can stay whenever I need to stay in the UK for extra days.
