I am a dedicated, enthusiastic, and meticulous individual with abundant experience in the healthcare industry (12 years). I have worked in nursing and residential home settings, looking after individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other complex physical and psychological needs. I have also worked as a live-in carer for 1 year, looking after clients with dementia and other ailments. I love and enjoy my job as a health care assistant. While at Bramley Court nursing home, I also worked as a fire warden and trained/inducted new colleagues who had joined the work force as care assistants. In my most recent role (personal care assistant), I have been caring for a young adult with complex needs due to a congenital muscular dystrophy. I have gained a lot more experience in this role too due to the client’s complex health needs.
