I have been doing care work since 2014, and I found it rewarding to support people in their own homes. I enjoy giving them dignity, comfort, and companionship. I have a lot of patience and always treat people with respect. Being a Live- in carer allows me to build trust with the client and give them the full support they need.
I have experience with complex care such as catheter care, Stoma bags, PEG feeding, and using all types of moving and handling equipment. I've worked with clients who had dementia, limited mobility, spinal injuries, use of Convenne, and Honington patients. I always follow care plans, record keeping, and ensure everything is done safely.
