I held a live in carer position for a dementia/diabetes client. I am patient, caring, passionate and compassionate, hard working individual with strong references. I enjoy helping clients, entertaining them, introducing various activities, eg. taking them for a walk, socialising with her friends, reading books, singing, playing scribble, word finding, participating in her chosen topic of conversation ranging from current affairs, economy, film, music, ( namely opera ) as she was an opera singer. I had a great time with a very intelligent and knowledgable lady with great interests in life. She was so happy finding a good companion who exceeded her expectations as she used to present me to her visitors.
