I am a 42 year old, highly educated, self-employed gardener, currently living in Kent with the intention of completely relocating. I was an accountant for 8 years from leaving a very prestigious grammar school but grew tired of the monotonous work and fickle office environments. So I then decided to follow my true interests and undertake a Science degree as a mature student. After achieving excellent results and an award for the best ecology research thesis presented by the Archbishop of Canterbury, I then deviated to my other more philosophical interests and undertook a Masters degree in Mythology, Cosmology and the Sacred. At the same time, I acquired 3 allotment plots where along with much research, I learned to grow a vast assortment of vegetables, fruits, trees and flowers. As well as feeding myself and my family, I then saw a niche in the. market and decided to dry and carefully package altogether 267 different types of flora and sold them all over the world where consumers would use them in crafts such as candle and soap making, potpourri, natural skincare, spell crafting, rituals and so on. This inevitably evolved into my own gardening and landscaping business which took off in a matter of days, due to my passion, knowledge and hard work ethic.

I have several elderly/disabled customers who I not only garden for but regularly help out with general household tasks such as cleaning, preparing meals, reorganising etc. One couple in particular with severe cerebral palsy like me to take them on regular trips to the garden centre where we all have lunch then afterwards a lead them round (Linda needs to. be pushed in a wheelchair) and overwhelm them with all my plant knowledge, giving advice for the types of plants that would be suitable for they garden. I then plant them when I drop them back off.

I believe I have a rare gift when it comes to elderly people, children, those who are physically or mentally disabled or the neurodiverse wonders of this world (as well as animals, especially those that are challenging). I would therefore like to put it to good use where it is needed but without losing my other businesses that I have nurtured from birth.

Therefore, I would be suited to short, temporary placements perhaps to cover someone off sick or whilst trying to find the right candidate, Maybe 1-3 weeks as a maximum. I am willing to travel anywhere, as long as the costs are reimbursed.
