I am a 52 year old woman with over 30 years experience working in care that includes community, private, residential, hospital and secure units. I currently work as a lead homemaker in a luxury care home supporting residents with various needs. My role includes leading a team of caregivers alongside a nurse. My duties include medication administration, personal care, risk assessments, updating care plans, liaising with outside agencies, well being, dietary needs and much more. I am a very hardworking, honest and conscientious individual that always respects the needs and wishes of the individual that I am supporting. I understand the importance of confidentiality with my role. My experience has enabled me to enroll in many courses that have benefited me and those I work with. I am more than happy to undertake more to expand my knowledge.
