Dependable and compassionate healthcare professional with over 7 years’ experience supporting individuals with a wide range of care needs, including 3 years as a live-in carer. I genuinely love what I do and take pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care with respect, patience, and empathy.
Through my experience, I have developed strong observational skills and can quickly identify changes in a client’s behaviour or body language that may indicate a problem. I have supported clients with full capacity needs, companionship, respite care, stroke recovery, PEG feeding, dementia, seizure management, and catheter care.
I provide personal care with dignity, always encouraging clients to remain as independent as possible by supporting them to do what they can for themselves. Where assistance is needed, I offer help in a respectful and reassuring manner. I also support with household duties, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general chores. I am confident preparing English meals and adapting meals to individual needs.
To support overall wellbeing, I encourage daily activities such as light exercises, reading, puzzles, watching television, and listening to music, helping clients stay mentally and physically engaged.
I am a fast learner, highly dependable, and confident working independently. All mandatory training and certificates are fully up to date. I am open to long-term roles, able to travel as required, and flexible with working arrangements.
I am currently seeking live-in or long-term care opportunities, with a desired salary starting from £850 per week and above. I welcome conversations with recruiters looking for a committed and experienced carer who truly values dignity, independence, and quality care.
