I have previous support and care work experience in a variety of roles. I was a learning support assistant for students with learning disabilities at Belfast Metropolitan College .(Agency role- temporary contract). I was a live-in volunteer with a charity called Share and Care, which provided care and assistance of up to fifteen hours a week for elderly clients within their own homes. More recently I was a parental carer which was on a part time basis (as the work was shared with another carer). Further back, I was also a night shift support worker for Belfast Women's Aid (a regional domestic violence organisation).
