Being committed as a Care Assistant working with vulnerable individuals with a wide range of disabilities, I have discovered helping people is something that I genuinely enjoy, particularly getting to know the service users on a personal level. Hearing about their life experiences has demonstrated to me that everyone is unique because of different personalities, backgrounds and cultures. Through supporting physically disabled clients and adults with learning difficulties in a supported living environment, I have learnt to communicate effectively verbally, using positive body language and signing. I am also a very hard working own who is aslo keen to learn new skills.
