I am a very experienced and competent administrator with over ten years experience in NHS administration and over twelve months in a clinical role. All three roles have involved regular contact with patients and other healthcare professionals from receptionist to consultant.
In my most recent role as a Healthcare Support worker I assisted the nursing team by monitoring patients vital signs regularly thus prioritising patients by their NEWS score while escalating any observable red flags to a senior nurse for review.
I was required to perform ECG’s frequently, and also urinalysis and blood sugar monitoring when required.
At all other times I would tend to patients basic needs, safety and comfort as long as they remained in the department.
