I am an experienced health practitioner and live-in personal assistant, since 2017. Trained in standard care (dementia, cancer, asthma, physical disabilities, diabetes, etc.) as well as in complex care (spinal injuries, brain injuries mental health conditions, autism, epilepsy), I am familiar with caring for bed-bound patients, individuals with limited mobility, wheelchair users, complete or partial blindness, hearing conditions, personal care, meal preparation, community activities, outings and socialisation.
In terms of personal qualities , I describe myself as patiently patient, considerate, compassionate, honest, empathetic and friendly.
Holding a Level 5 certificate in Management and Leadership in Healthcare, I possess the required knowledge and understanding of various issues relating to the provision of healthcare service to vulnerable individuals, regardless of age, gender, social standing, cultural background and physical abilities.
