I have consideration experience as a live in caregiver as well as a PA for clients with different needs.
Consequently, my experience includes working with the elderly, disabilities, & fairly recently worked with a mildly autistic teen with challenging behaviour & needed guidance, the confidence to get out & apply for a job. I had to drive him to & from work & any other trips or appointments. These rolls required safeguarding, empathy, forbearance & good communication skills. I am computer literate, a skill that I found to be very useful when the need arose while working with clients.
I have various care certificates including safeguarding, medication management, first aid, infection control & moving & handling. I also have valid Carers Insurance as well as DBS checks.
