In my previous care role I was a community care/support worker, My job had multiple duties with a range of service users that needed different types of support. Within my first couple of months I was trained to use lifting, lowering equipment like a hoist and track hoist using a slings with colour coded hooks for different size people, slide sheets to assist people in movement and lastly I was also was trained how to use a Sam haul turner effectively and safely.
