I am a British Carer and have 30 years of experience of an ex nurse. I am caring, patient, empathetic and professional. I am a homely person who genuinely cares. Professionally I was a RN in adult nursing for over 30 years, which covered Medical and Surgical, Elderly Care, Mental Health Care and also Midwifery and children. also specialities that are relevant to elderly care such as, dementia, Parkinson's, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental illness, palliative care and end of life care. I also have acted as an advocate and provide practical and emotional support to help people live a safe and independent life in their own home and community. This includes nutritional diet, cooking nutritious meals from scratch, cleaning and of course companionship.
