My name is Lu, and I’m an experienced and compassionate home carer with over 12 years of dedication to supporting individuals in leading safe, comfortable, and fulfilling lives. Caring for others has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a calling. I believe everyone deserves to live their best life, with dignity, independence, and joy.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients with a wide range of needs, including those living with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson’s Disease, and mobility challenges, as well as individuals facing anxiety, depression, or requiring end-of-life care. Whether providing live-in, hourly, or overnight support, I approach every role with patience, respect, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
My skill set includes personal care such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and companionship. I’m also fully mobile—with a valid driver’s license and my own vehicle—which allows me to help clients attend appointments, run errands, and enjoy social outings. I understand how important it is for people to stay active and connected, and I do my best to support this in every way I can.
Outside of work, I’m someone who finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—painting, walking, cooking, baking, solving puzzles, and spending time with animals. These hobbies not only keep me grounded but also often help me connect with clients in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
What sets me apart is my sincere commitment to building real relationships with the people I care for. I take pride in being someone who is reliable, warm, and truly attentive to individual needs. My goal in every role is to offer not just care, but companionship, comfort, and a sense of security.
