Ruiz once read, that when human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not unusual for their lives to unravel. A personal passion of his has always been assisting those who seek care. [Ruiz] yearn to aid persons who have been through traumatic/stressful experiences and endeavour to help the youth, adults, and families to develop healthy perceptions of themselves and always offer to care for persons with disabilities and the elderly. Hence, his undergraduate chosen programme of study of Social Work. [Ruiz] is aware that no single approach is the right one for every individual. However, he considers himself fortunate during his quest to be educated as he was exposed to and had training while doing courses such as Stress Management, Mediation and Dispute Resolution, Counselling Techniques, Group Dynamics in Counselling and Psychology, and Old Age to Adulthood.
