I'm female aged 49yrs, currently working in HMP for females as a family worker. I have also worked in a male setting. My background experience in this field is working with people who struggle with addiction.This will be my seventh year working there.Working in secure settings has taught good communication skills, reporting safeguarding concerns, being a good team worker, being articulate in sharing of information. Understanding clients needs and being empathetic without an judgements. I have previous experience as support worker for adults with learning disabilities, live in as well as domiciliary care.
