I have 15 years housekeeping experience and 3 years caring for the elderly, inlucding most recently caring for a lady with severe dementia.
I tend to develop a close rapport with the individual I am taking care of and their close
family members. My duties involved general day to day tasks, administrating medication,
helping with personal hygiene and getting dressed, companionship, when needed use Sarastedy Macworth and wheelchair, making home cooked meals, shopping , laundry.
I consider myself to be good company and able listen to others, exchange stories and experiences, which enables us to engage and relate with each other.
I enjoy helping others, providing care and reassurance. Their appreciation and smile is heartfelt. I am an organized person, tidy and reliable and tend to have a positive attitude and problem solving approach to life.
My life knowledge and enthusiasm has developed from engineering in fashion manufacturing, being a mother, waitress and bookkeeper.
